I have been a vocalist and backup singer for a folk/rock band and have played and experimented with the flute, the recorder, the xylophone, guitar, drums and percussion. Music is my first love, it would be impossible for me to list all the genres that I prefer, I like EVERYTHING from ALTERNATIVE to ZYDECO! I come from a musical family and grew up in a radio station that my father owned. He was a jazz musician and played the xylophone and my mother was a vocalist. My brother and nephew are drummers, my niece is currently exploring her love of music and buying an electronic violin soon. I LOVE intricate harmonies, opportunities to show off my vocal range and I LOVE Pagan/Witchy Chants. I enjoy listening to female vocalists and songwriters such as Alicia Keys, Chaka Khan, Patti Austin and so many more. I also love screaming rock guitar! I play drums and I LOVE DRUM CIRCLES! I would love to buy a DULCIMER and learn how to play it. Come back here often to check out the new songs I put on this page! I change them often, I am always obsessed with new music! I AM A RADIO JUNKIE AND CONTINUALLY FLIP THE STATION AND SING AT THE TOP OF MY LUNGS WHILE DRIVING (not unlike Oprah's best friend)! This is extremely annoying to anyone that gets in a car with me behind the wheel. Singing loudly keeps me awake! I would also like to get DRUM CIRCLES started in the East Pasco County, Zephyrhills, Dade City, Wesley Chapel areas. We need a location to do this and enough interested people. Firstly, I want to say that most TV is simply SUBLIMINAL ADVERTISING!!! Like Michael Franti and Gil Scott Heron, I believe that TELEVISION is the DRUG OF THE NATION and is mostly propaganda as the programming and stations are owned and controlled by a handful of people that work in tandem with the corporations. I would much rather listen to music, read a book or read something edifying online during my down time. (Watch the videos below and you will get a good idea on this concept!) If you have cable or satellite, remember, others can "see" what you are watching! Analog signals will not exist in a few years, so soon TV's WITHOUT cable or satellite service will be obsolete as you will not be able to get a signal with the new TVs that are coming out and without being connected to a service of some sort. Time to learn Morse Code to be able to spread the news., There are a few programs I will watch on occasion and only when I have the time and the inclination, most of them have to do with news, education and comedy and a few random drama programs. Some of these are: CSI, Medium, Ghost Whisperer, Late Night Comedy, News Programs and PBS! Jon Stewart and the Daily Show, Letterman, Conan, Leno (depends on what guests are on), The Colbert Report, Will and Grace, Seinfeld, News Magazines such as 20/20, the View, Martha Stewart, Boxing, Saturday Night Live, Mad TV, Rachel Ray, Oprah, ER, Cold Case, Law and Order, AMERICAN IDOL, Rock Star, Survivor Man and SURVIVOR.
